Project Description

Sylvie Perera has been in practice since 2006, first in London and then in Sydney, Australia. She trained in acupuncture and herbal medicine in the UK and China, completing a clinical internship at Hangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Acupuncture, a Postgraduate Diploma in Oriental Herbal Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her practice, AcuEssence, focuses on fertility, women’s health, chronic illness, grief, and complex cases where the body needs support to regain its natural healing capacity. She has done additional training in bereavement, fertility, and Inner Space Techniques (IST), and volunteered at the Nightingale Community Hospice in London treating people affected by cancer. She sees patients in person in Sydney.
